Sankey will go down as the worst sec commissioner in history.

1) He negotiated a TV contract that provided the BIG 10 more money during a time the sec was king winning 13 out of 17 NC
2) He failed to renegotiate the contract prior to going to a 9 team sched.
3) As a result of his weak leadership, we saw the BIG 10 surpass the SEC as the premier conference.
4) He let the Big 10 lead, while he reacted in the Decision making of rules for Covid, Sorsby, and now 5 for 5
5) He took no action in the pavia and chambliss cases
6) He followed the Big 10 and other conferences in making rules against the 5 for 5. However, his rule was after the kids committed to a sec school. Their rule was prior to a kid committing.
7)He has now sued a founding member of the sec and a coach.
Under his weak leadership sec went from the richest and best conference to #2
LSU didn’t sue the sec, lane Kiffin didn’t break a current rule.
If he kicks lsu out, he strengthens the Big 10 and weakens the sec. He already fell to #2, he’s headed for 3rd or forth. The presidents need to vote him out. One day their school may fall in the cross hairs of his poor and prideful decision making.

He’s an incompetent leader.

Boomers are committed to burning everything in this country down to take it with them.

I could not fricking care less about the SEC and its member institutions other than LSU.
So this Big 10 vs SEC stuff does not move the needle for me. I can’t stand any of em.

It’s literally Sankey’s Job. He was hired to maintain the SEC as the premier conference athletically and financially. He’s failed at both.

Great gameday sign idea here

This by a mile. And as many have hammered down in so many threads Alabama, Missouri, Texas have had players under similar circumstances and NO backlash at all on them. Sankey cherry picking facts is going to have a lot of questions thrown at him.

Conferences are weakening. As we move to a super league, they will become meaningless.

It’s not a high chance, but this has the potential to completely blow up the SEC. The more I think about it the more baffling it is

You left out keeping the scholarship limit at 85 when everyone else had 105. That’s why the big 10 got a jump on us.
But i think Sankey said day one he would comply with the court rulings until the president ls jumped in.
This is mainly about kiffin taking two former ole miss players, NFL or otherwise. If they wanted to return to ole miss, the noise would be negligible.

I really don’t understand why this issue is being fought harder than Pavia or Chambliss issues were. Why wasn’t the transfer rules fought harder? Nil rules fought harder. All of a sudden, they going to sue their own members over this issue but not the others?
