The only contigency they were interested in providing was a home game. They may give UF the popcorn money from the stadium, but if you remember USC didnt make money because nobody was at the game.

You should educate yourself before you post. The number of levels on which this is wrong, is insane.

So be penalized for literally offering "anytime, anywhere... I'll even give you a ride there"?

Oh, and part of penalization would be around $15MM to the local economy giving up the USA game. I'm sure Baton Rouge, who had some sort of disaster if I'm remembering right, doesn't deserve that money because Foley chose not to make a decision at all.

The correct move for LSU would have been to tell UF we will be there regardless and put all the responsibility on UF to cancel.

You MUST be fricking retarded. Alleva offered to fly LSU into Gainesville Sunday, play the game and then fly out. He also offered to play at a neutral site. He also offered to play in an empty stadium.

Please explain why UFrightened didnt accept any of these bentover-backwards offers?

Bama would love 10/29, too.

No bye week for LSU before the big game.
Like our bye helps. A week is fine. Especially since Coach O has the players practicing less and in the film room more.

Show me the conference rule that says he could have.

Obviously no one can physically make another person DO anything but its in the SEC rules that when the home team cant or wont reschedule the game the commish can award a forfeit.

The SEC or Florida can pay off South Alabama and LSU will host Florida on 11/19. LSU will retain their home game next season with UF also. If Florida does not then they don't benefit from the winning percentage argument due to less games for the SECCG.

Not a chance. Either we play on the 29th, play next Monday or Florida forfeits.

If I'm LSU I refuse 11/19 under ANY circumstances.

Oh God I agree 100%. Why should we have to cater and change our plans for the University of Forfeit? It should have been played this weekend but Florida became cowards and fricked it up. Florida should have to forfeit the game, but I know the commissioner has no balls so it won't happen.

No one at LSU freaked out. Put down the crack pipe. You're hallucinating.
