I played with Kenny Davidson (KD). At the 1990 combine he measured 6'5" 270 and ran a 4.65 forty. He never started one game for LSU (played in many though), but was an early 2nd rounder.

4.65 / 40 time is what had the Pro Scouts moving him up the charts. He went as the 43 rd. player taken in the 2nd round. Hodson in the 3rd. Tony Moss and Eddie Fuller in the 4th. Ronnie Haliburton (Played TE at LSU, drafted by Denver, then moved to LB) went in the 6th. Dunbar in the 8th and Clint James in the 9th.

probably runs a 4.7 or 4.8, 40 times are not accurate unless done by a neutral party with proper equipment

The only legit forty time out there is when they run at the NFL combine or one of the college Pro Days. Everything else is heresay.

Are U talking about Kenny Davidson or Kenny Mixon. Both guys sound similar. Pass rush DE, didn't start but was drafted ahead of Defensive linemen at LSU who did. I'm confused.

Davidson is the one who got drafted high based on his combine results. Really didn't do much at LSU. Was just a physical specimen.

Has kind of a Michael Johnson build, so it's possible. But when he bulks up and puts the pads on, I'm sure it will drop. But still impressive.

Remember back when LSU would time guys not only in the 40, but also at 10 and 20 yards? I guess today they use the vertical to evaluate explosiveness.

dwight freeney once ran a 4.38 while at 268 or so

dwight freeney is like 6-0 though

montgomery COULD have run that, but he won't keep that speed up with more weight
