Ok? I never said LSU wouldn’t see options play.

I just stated UT will likely test Stevens in the Quarter package.

This is a really biased assessment. Ehlinger is a gamer. LSU will have to gang tackle him to bring him down.

He's Tim Tebow version 2.0. And he'll be feeding off of a rowdy home crowd.

They have talent at Lber not as experienced as last year but Malcolm Roach and another kid who’s name escapes me both have played. They are very good n the secondary. And Feldman raved about their edge rushers. Two solid backs and Oline will

i think you are under selling Ehlinger. I think he is very similar to Burrow, he is a gritty tough guy his team mates like to play for.

Last year he threw for 65% completion rate, 3292 yards, 25 tds and only 5 interceptions. He is on almost every Heisman watch list and only LSU fans would consider Burrow as good or better than Ehlinger (I think Burrow is as good too, but I am an LSU fan and nationally Ehlinger is thought of as a top college qb, Burrow not as highly rated).

I agree hEhlinger has his limits and might not be a very good NFL qb. But he is an excellent college qb and the main reason Vegas has LSU only a slight favorite in this game.

According to Herman and Orlando, their CBs have been inconsistent in Spring/Fall camp. They're still a "battle", LSU should probably expect to Jalen Green and Anthony Cook starting.

I can't agree with that. Tebow was by no means an elite passer (even in college), but he was far and away better than Ehlinger. Additionally, I believe Tebow was a better runner. They are both 'gamers' with a strong desire to carry their teams, but I'm not putting anybody above Tebow in that category right now.

Not sure I have ever heard anybody refer to the Texas crowd as 'Rowdy'

Tim Tebow was an all-time great college QB. Ehlinger appears to be quite good but let’s hold off on putting him up there with all-timers.

I meant with regards to style of play.

Hard-runner, likes contact, can't throw for shite.

Obviously Tebow was a better QB. I should have said a poor man's Tebow instead of Tebow 2.0. Fair point.

I don't know what has you confused.

I am an LSU fan and admittedly biased. I have seen a lot of Burrow and think he is under rated because his stat line is not that good.

I have also seen a lot of Ehlinger. He's a good player. I think he and Burrow are similar in that a lot of what they bring to their team doesnt show up in the stat line all the time.

I think its true to say that everywhere but in La, Ehrlinger is the way more highly regarded of the two players.

The thing to remember is, this will be a whole different d-line than what was playing against Florida, plus Battle won't be playing and that will be a big plus. Not saying it will be a cake walk but I look forward to the matchup.

Tim Tebow was a better decision maker. He didn't have the elite arm but he was smart at reading defenses. That is something Sam has not done yet. He hasn't proven he can pre-read a defense and make the adjustments on the fly.

I am not saying Sam Ehlinger sucks. I am saying he isn't as AMAZING as they are saying he is down in Austin. I am sorry but watch game film from last year to confirm. He will give us trouble but my post was about his weaknesses
