Your kidding yourself if you think that Ehlinger and Herman aren’t going to give us trouble, I fully expect them to take the dan Mullen blue print and apply it.

Which one? Cause he beat us 37-7 at Miss State a couple years ago because they played the perfect game and we self destructed with 20+ penalties and dropped passes (Gage's sideline meltdown).

My point being, that was inexperienced Oregon being slapped in the face and not knowing how to handle it. Two years later, he is a completely different coach.

That said, I think you mean that they will be using the size of their O-Line and QB to their advantage, as State did that game. If so, I understand the comment.

That one or the game last year where he had Felipe franks moving the ball up and down the field on us with the hesitation read option. In that game he used his QBs legs as well to beat us.

Mullen has had a ton of success against Aranda.

You can blame that 37-7 state game on penalties and dropped passes if you want but that doesn’t explain 37 points. Maybe our Dline depth but not dropped passes.

That’s the read. He probably bit too hard but H-back/TE would still be there to pick him up.

The LBs should have rotated to the strongside. But because the offense was in trips left they wanted to better protect against the weakside run/pull. (pulling guard and tackle)

No, this is QB run all the way. The LBs are flanked to the weakside with 32 setting the edge.

The center down blocks on the DT/DE, the H-Back/TE lead blocks up to the LB or Safety.

Film probably shows that Oregon likes to run weakside counter out of this formation.

While Mullen did have some success against us, his offense still only mustered 20 points.

I’d take giving up only 20 in a heart beat.

You know there is a universe where a fan can talk trash and also respect a player...He's obviously a great college football player. relax just a tad.
