Tried to search about this, but couldn't find anything...

Will the Superdome crew be working 24/7 shifts if the Saints play a playoff game on Sunday 1/8 with the BSCNC game being on 1/9? They can't both play on the same field/surfaces, right (with the different endzones and logos)?

Saints game would be on Saturday, more than likely.

It'd be nuts, though.

what makes you think saints will have home field advantage?

That'd be the first weekend of playoffs so the Saints would have a home game if they win the NFC South which they are currently two games up in.

The is based on the assumption that the Saints are the third or fourth seed.

Most likely, this Game will be on Saturday.

they often have 1 day between Tulane and Saints games. changing the turf isn't the problem. the signage and gift bags on each seat and everything else that comes with a championship game are going to be more worrysome for SMG IMO.

It's actually more of a hassle for the fans. The hotels are going to be booked up with 3 night minimums. They arent going to lift that...so if you're going to be in town for the BCS...then you're also going to be in town for the playoff game.

Sucks for the fans of the team that the Saints would play.

Yep, one of the main reasons that I brought this up.

Hopefully the 49ers will stumble down the stretch and the Saints can just go ahead and claim the #2 seed

Will I be getting a gift bag?!?

As a student looking at a $350 ticket, I certainly hope so.

The other big problem with this whole thing is...will a hotel be set aside for the away playoff team to stay in, just in case??? Or will they just ship them in from Covington or something?

more than likely there is a hotel that has to hold 100 rooms for that weekend and is
