Sad fact. LSU is tied for most draft picks in the last 3 classes.

31 picks from 2020-2022, only tied with Georgia.

If only our record over that span wasn't trash.

We’ve won as many national championships as anyone else in that span…

I’m no fan of Orgeron but we also won a national championship in that time span. Why are you people so damn miserable?

It's ridiculous right? With all that talent, it's completely unacceptable to not have a national title in that time span..... Oh wait.

Holy mischaracterization, Batman.

14 of the 31 picks were in the 2020 draft, which were all members of the 2019 National Championship team (won in January 2020).

6 of the 7 chosen in the 2021 draft were vital pieces on the 2019 National Championship team.

After the 2021 NFL draft 17 of 22 starters on the 2019 National Championship team had been drafted into the NFL, with 3 still remaining at LSU (two of which plus Ed Ingram were drafted in 2021).

I get the frustration of the past two seasons, but this is a totally worthless metric upon which to mount a complaint. A vast majority of those players delivered a National Championship to LSU.

I kinda disagree, out of the 10 drafted in 2022 they were all major contributors to the 2020 and 2021 doodoo 6-6 seasons.

Not to mention LSU had the #6 most talented overall roster in the country going into the 2020 season and #5 heading into the 2021 season. LSU was also #4 on a average player ranking for both 2020 and 2021.

Wow! Once again a mischaracterization on your part. The only comments I made on 2021 are: (1) that the season was frustrating and (2) of the 3 remaining starters from the 2019 National Championship team, two were drafted along with Ed Ingram.

What pray-tell are you "kinda disagreeing" with? Please expound on same.

Also, FYI the 2022 season has yet to be played, therefore none of the aforementioned 31 draft choices during the 2020-2022 drafts will be a part of your prophesized "doodoo" season.

I said 2020 and 2021 doodoo seasons. They happened. They weren't prophecies.

You may have edited the 2022 to 2021 after the fact, but read what I quoted in your initial post.

It's almost ironic that the coach he is defending had trouble speaking English as well.

We had the best season of all time and you people still find a reason to bitch on Memorial Day about the last 2 years of Covid football after our championship team was gutted by the draft and coaches getting promotions elsewhere.

And we have a new coach now anyway. Why are we even remotely concerned about our record the last 2 seasons now?
