If Saban was handed this LSU 2020 roster, he would easily go 6-1. He would definitely have won against Vandy, SC, Arkansas. With Saban at the helm, we definitely do not have these defensive issues. We beat MSU and Missouri. That is 5 wins right there. I think he wins one of the Auburn, A&M games even with Myles' injury. He would lose to Alabama and Florida for sure but would beat Ole Miss and go 7-3 even with all the attrition.

Hell even Les would have gone 5-2 till this point and 6-4 overall.

Saban and Miles would have both established a running game, improved time of possession and allowed the defense to be rested.

What we have is bad coaching boys! Nothing else.

The two best coaches on the team left since last year? One will be an NFL HC in a few months

Last year's co ordinators are gone. So is the greatest QB and leader to ever dorn a Tiger jersey. Also gone is the elite defense, elite WR core and the starting running back.

I'm not sure what sane person would argue that O is better than Saban. You're preaching to the choir.

You can gtfo with the Miles crap though.

Saban isn't winning road conference games with TJ Finley and Max Johnson

The defense is probably not much better either if 2019 Alabama is any indication

Miles averaged 10 games a season over 11 seasons with 2 SEC titles, 6 New Year 5 bowl appearances ( 2005 Peach, 2006 Sugar, 2007 NC, 2008 Peach, 2010 Cotton, 2011 NC ), 1 NC and countless top 10 finishes.

I do not this anyone will repeat that at LSU in a long while

The team would not be in this position if Saban was the coach

Saban also wouldn’t have hired ho arse Linehan or Pelini and we would be running a much better scheme offensively and defensively. We would probably finish this year 9-1 with him.

Saban is just a better coach. O is acting like this is his first year.

Didn't get boatraced by a garbage state team and didn't lose to meh Mizzou

All while losing his starting QB and the initial backup and. That offense was better than this one btw

So when LSU under performs, it's O's fault. When they do well, it's a credit to everyone but him. Got it.

The offense set records with one coach for one year. The defense was always great under the previous coordinator. I suppose it could be a coincidence that both units had major drop offs precisely when both those coaches left the program, but that's a tough sell.

:ETA O absolutely gets credit for seeing greatness in Brady and getting him here as well as keeping Aranda on staff. before you say I give him no credit. Those aren't his only accomplishments either, just the only ones pertinent to this specific post.
