Saban and Miles can't tell on each other. Too funny! Hope the RP deal is past the time limit, too. Both Saban and Miles were in on that one. I am so afraid that RP is going to rear his ugly head. Hope he is making a good check...somewhere.

I'm no lawyer, but if there's no crime involved what statute of limitations are we talking about? An internal NCAA policy?

Saban reminds me of Edwin Edwards, a little too clever for his own good.

Saban- like the head coaches of any program -are the last ones to find out about things like this.

Notice how legally sound Saban's statement is referring to his program but not addressing anything outside his program. What's disappointing is how all the current employed high profile coaches will not go and address the Elephant in the room(no pun intended). :) I hope a coach other then unemployed Rich Rodriquez or Urban Meyer will make a true statement about what is really going on and announce some sort of summit or move to clean this problem up. The NCAA is obviously mired in their own corruption of dealing with these issues. And I call it corruption because of how they deal with these issues.

Not true. JMO, but from those I have spoken to, the idea that McClover would've been out of the coach's site long enough to be alone with a booster is laughable, as is the idea that Pete Jenkins needs someone with talent to turn them into an NFL linemen. He would've been on the hip of the top 1 or 2 linemen there the entire time.

What problem, booster's giving a kid money. That's never going to end unless you end the hypocrisy of "student athletes".

It is going to be revealed very very soon according to my sources that Saban himself took large amounts of money to leave Miami and come coach at Alabama. FACT!

You are right! We should make it like European soccer or hockey where schools aren't even affiliated with sports and you have a 5-8 tier minor league system

I know if a coach is directly involved in giving _____ money, the school cant hide behind the statute of limitations.
