All the OP said is Saban should be the 1st call. He will probably say no, but you make that call just to make sure.

Saban probably has a little bit in him that wants to come back to LSU, but he’s got a pretty good gig right now. Stress free and his legacy is cemented. Come back with all this NIL bullshite and it might not go as good as it did prior. Idk, we’ll see. Long long shot.

I’d take him back and just not do NIL. Let him establish a culture for a few years, save money, then hand it off to a younger guy and ramp up the spending then.
