As long as we start beating them again it helps our strength of schedule and in recruiting

We keep losing = bad!

I say bad, The way the media talks is that every other college team should just quit because no one can beat bama. Bama is number one every single year at the start of the season. They dont even have to win their conference to get in the playoff (this is why we need more than 4 teams) and it is blatantly obvious that they have the referees on their side as well as the entire SEC office and now the country sees that as well,

Dominance in any sport is bad. Especially in a sport with such a short season and a small playoff.

Even Finebaum said it's bad for college football.

According to Finebaum a few days ago, bad. I tend to agree.

Clemson/Ohio state are the model for perfect top programs. Usually favored, really good recruiting and coaching, but still beatable and surpassable. Bama has reached a point where you absolutely know the result, and even if the result isn’t what you thought, you still feel certain to a point where you don’t want to watch, and that’s the problem. Same with warriors, they may lose, but you’ve convinced yourself they’ll win until you see other wise and decide not to watch.

It's horrible. Not just because we have to play them every year either.
Parity helps sports be fun and profitable... and having your pick of players each year, and huge influence in all areas of the game from a rules standpoint, is not parity.
The NFL knows this, college needs to figure it out, or murder the midget...one or the other.

Right. Expand it to 8 and you'll see a 2 or 3 loss Alabama be an automatic shoe in. No thanks.

Keep the playoff to 4 teams and shut them out of the playoff by beating them

Hands down, bad.

Who outside of the state of Alabama wants to watch the Tide win another game, noone.

That's what makes the early rounds of March Madness so much fun..any team can and occassionally does win.

Hell, I would rather go back to the days when USC or somone else was dominant, at least we had a "fighting chance" to win the SEC and play for a national title. Now, according to the media, sport shows etc Bama will win the sec every year not to mention they have the easiest schedule in the SEC every year. I would lobe to see them play florida and georgia in the same year. Dont give me the Tenn crap, they havnt been good in a long time but when was the last time Florida was bad, like Tenn bad? even with yellow teeth they where not that bad.

Hell its to the point that when bama does lose, they only beat them selves and the media makes every excuse for them so that they can still make it into the playoff

Indisputably bad. For every Alabama bandwagoner across the U.S., there are probably 10-20 people who are sick of watching them get second chances, get calls, get all the recruits, etc. Some in the media think they are good for ratings, but I think that's local to the Birmingham market. I know I hardly ever watch their games, especially championships and playoffs.

I don't like it, but did you expect a bunch of people to come in here and say they loved it?

Just looking for honesty.

Many of us witnessed the Bear's dominance as well.

I'm ready for change...

This is the correct answer.

It wouldn't be as bad if it weren't for the two mulligans. Had this not happened, there would be no Bama fatigue.

But that's the problem. As a fan, I'm not really that excited about this weekend. Why? Because I know if LSU has the audacity to win the game, the media will just drop Bama from 1 to 3 or 4, then they get to sit at home while other teams have to win their conference to earn the right to a playoff.

All SEC teams are doing is winning the conference to potentially earn the right to either rematch a team or play a team that wasn't good enough to do it.

This isn't fair but it will only get worse.

This doesn't even scratch the surface on biased officiating and the Bama alum fricking with SEC scheduling.
