He wouldn’t need defending if people like the guy who concocted the 1-34 weren’t skewing and manipulating stats in an effort to make him look bad. That literally seems to be all this is.

This seems more like the Bengals coaching staff being utterly terrible with clock management and closing out games.
Bill Cower has a 108-1-1 record once he got up by 10. The one loss was against the Bengals from a bad snap for a FG that would have won the game. That's masterful game management with a lead. For comparison Taylor has 4 10+ point blown leads in his last 20 games, now 5 including the loss to the Steelers this past Sunday.
It's not Burrow, it's coaching mismanagment.
