But the fact is that we were playing Vandy and we have better athletes on offense (like Marshall who is a potential 1st rounder), so you throw it and let Marshall do what he does. If you're playing UF, Bama, etc., then you can throw it underneath to someone who is more open. Everyone was complaining about Brennan being scared to make a mistake and not throwing the ball in the first game. He let it fly like we wanted on Saturday and he had great results doing that against Vandy.

Stop thinking of him as an LSU guy, he’s a Saban loyalist period.

He's definitely right. I've watched a couple guys break down the game since then and several pointed out that Marshall made a great play to get in front of the DB to catch that because the DB should have easily undercut that and possibly pick it off.
