He will be better than Harvin. He has the athleticism of Harvin plus the leadership of Tebow. Not only is that a player I want on the field but one that will be key in the locker room as well.

I heard Les Miles reads the rant - so he's going to be the DE opposite Trindon.

I understand what you are saying, i was just putting that up there to show that he has beaten good teams. And why dont you think he would have done good? He was 4-0 against SEC teams. That's a pretty good record. So looking at that, I don't know if he would have been undefeated in 4 years of sec play, but i know he wouldn't have been bad. To say he wouldn't have been good is just not a good statement. But, the point i was making is that if pat white was that good, then it doesn't seem like a stretch to say that RS could, COULD, be that good too! I'm just excited to see him play

The offensive schemes that they will use RS in will not be like anything anyone's done before. Gary Crowton is a f*cking mad genius. He will have so many roles on the field, he will just be so dangerous. Basically, imagine a Harvin-like player who will also line up to pass.

with the ability to be a dangerous passer, who has other great talents like Jefferson, Scott, Lafell, K.Williams, Murphy, R.Randle, T.Toliver, and Holliday around him and most can be on the field at the same time. The question is what will they name the plays?

Why didn't Florida have Percy Harvin at QB? He was their most dynamic playmaker. Because they were a better team with both Tebow and Harvin on the field at the same time. If Shepard doesn't play QB, it's because Miles/Crowton think LSU is a better team with both him and Jordan Jefferson on the field at the same time.

Because Tebow is the best player in college football. Percy has more homerun punch, but all he can do for UF is run the ball, while Tebow can run it and throw it. Shep can throw it, Percy can't. Obviously you have to have the threat of throwing the ball present.

Unless JJ just blows everyone away during practice, you have to play Shep at QB for the majority of his game snaps. Hell, even if JJ is the next Heisman winner, Shep's touches should still come primarily at QB.

and Lee, I can't imagine where they will utilize him.

Lee will work out just fine; He has been running drills in practice for DB's to work on their hands.

False. They will use him as a utility back, someone to split out wide ,line up in the slot ,or take direct handoffs......yeah i guess the next Percy Harvin. He will be an LSU football god

Harvin took snaps from center (shotgun) many times, then disappeared down the field. Can't remember him ever throughing it.

So how fast is R Shepard? What I really want to know is how is your OL looking? I see that answer as a key to '09.
