It's one of the many very annoying cliche's here. People like to mimic what others do or say, because it helps them fit in with the various cliques.
Discredit people for low number of posts. Ignore valid reasoning if there isn't enough sunshine pumped into it. Repeating old sayings, over and over, such as "I bet you're a blast at parties", "That's what your mom told me last night", and so on.
It just goes to show how eager some people are to be included in the conversation when, in fact, they really have nothing to say.

Two birds of a feather, unfortunately. I once thought Jindal had potential. Turned out to be a typical Louisiana politician. JBE has been exactly what I thought he'd be.
I mean, right from the start, this guy threatens to cut football from the program that is 100% publicly funded? Who taught him economics? Who taught him public relations, to start his tenure with the worst possible idea from both an economic AND PR standpoint?

Huh? In a situation like this, it's easy to troll a fanbase. If someone has a limited amount of posts and/or has registered very recently, yet they suggest they've got an inside source, it is understandable to be skeptical. It happens all the time in coaching searches.

You don't have to name him...just categorize why he would know.

There might be some truth to that in this type of instance, but the fact remains that when people with a low post count, especially those who start threads, post something, they are often bashed and told to "post less".
There are also people with high post counts who post false information, at times. Either the guy is trolling or he isn't, but his post count doesn't matter to me, considering the number of "experienced" posters who drop worthless tidbits on us. I'm willing to let it play out, and if he's wrong, I'll be in that number of people to come back and call him out on it. But I'm not going to put him down, before I know the outcome.

I think this is the point though. I believe the idea is that a higher post count is more familiar, and therefore a known quantity (good or bad). A low post count is an unknown.
Plus recently created low post accounts are an indicator of alters and similar malicious accounts. Of course this isn’t always true, but being skeptical isn’t exactly invalid.
