Venables would be a home run hire as well. Happy either way. CP is a great DC. Either one will be an upgrade

Not sure how you can say he definitively is the best choice. Shoop and venables are right there with him.

I'll rephrase he is a good candidate, add in coach O and it's a home run hire.
I admit I bout into the hype a little bit. He isn't the only good candidate I know but It seems to be our best chance. Also because he brings in coach O, we assume, we will get a big recruiting bump.

I would think if you do not link ot do a direct quote from an article on another site then "no harm no foul". But I would think a general discussion thread is fair game.

I think a simple rule is don't quote things that are paid information. It's different than if you read it and put it into your own words. Maybe you should mention you got it from 247, but I don't think anyone is going to ban you because you spread info from 247 to here, as long as you don't quote VIP only info.

that answers it thanks Mountain. no-one at-least according to TDs guidelines is in the wrong. Don't know what 247 rules are but I bet it's something similar.

Can't control information. It will most likely be leaked within minutes if it's something as cut and dry like that. Just the way it is.
