Let's not be delusional. There will be people who leave because of the change and people who will come because of the change.
In the end it will all workout and be fine. Anyone who has thoughts of competing for a championship next year is bat shite crazy. It will take 2 to 3 years to get closer to the pinnacle of College Football.

Let's say you only fill 22 of that 25. Well you can use the other 3 on transfers and up to an additional 7 depending on who many guys transfer out of your 7.
I'm saying all this to say that a kid can wait til the coach is announced and listen to his appeal, then if they decide to go, this year is like the wild west where they could go just about anywhere because of the extra spots, and be eligible immediately. Those kids will have all the offseason practices at whatever school they want even if they wait til after national signing day.
Its not idiocy, its reality.
Tennessee was more or less the test case, people are just warming up to the new rules and how to work them. This includes the schools about to eat.
Its no longer the about the odd player not getting playing time or not seeing eye to eye with the coach. Its about winning immediately and payments.

Half the team's made up of Arik Gilberts and Finleys anyway, guys who look great and have a lot of natural talent but no game.

I fully expect boutte to sit out. It didn’t hurt Chase and every kid on LSUs team right now thinks they’re 2019 LSU material.
