BJ and Ricks for sure. LSU will be bottom of the barrel rebuilding now.

You are always such a little crybaby. Ricks isn't going anywhere.
He only has 1 year left then 1st round draft pick.

This is why it's good to hqve kids like bech and maason smith. Both from Louisiana and both aren't bitches.

I've been saying lsu needs a re-branding.

Please tell me how that is beneficial to the program in any way?

I don’t think it is but the other options weren’t any better, except MAYBE if E agreed to be interim, which he didn’t.

Its a barely sustainable program right now with all the injuries.

If you look at the composite talent right now, we are in bad shape. There's no disputing that.

We can't afford to lose more.

This makes no sense

I thought layers hated swamp king now.

If he’s fired and won’t be their coach why would they leave?

Teams lose players when they change coaches. Not sure why you're acting like the world is ending. We need and are going to get a culture/attitude reboot.

People like you are hilarious. You love throwing names out like Ricks, Ojulari, and Smith to make it seem worse than it actually is. Those guys are the least likely to transfer. They are guaranteed starters for us. 99% of the time the ones who transfer are those that haven't gotten much playing time so they look elsewhere. But people like you want everything to be so bad that you throw out names like Maason Smith with absolutely no evidence to back it up.

Same rumblings that Ricks and BJ we’re leaving after last year? Nobody that plays on a regular basis will leave. If they are down the depth chart, don’t blame them for going to a lower level team to get playing time. I remember when we weren’t going to be able to recover when Lindsay Scott and Lowell Narcese left.

You fire him when the season ends dumbass. Give me one good reason SW did what he did?

With respect to 2019, had O maintained "quiet mediocrity" he might have avoided the mid-season firing.

A general downturn in performance coupled with a poor start to the season, distracting events, conflict with administration/locker room.

Obviously, Woodward didn't have faith in O's ability to right the ship. When that happens... then it is the time.

None of this is conjecture. We all witnessed.

Long term future of the program outweighs short term upheaval.

Slightly different situation, given that Miles and Cameron were (to my memory) the only coaches removed and we made the interim head coach and then-recruiting coordinator our permanent head coach. That said, I don't really recall who, if anyone, transferred due to that change. But are you disputing the fact that it is pretty normal for players to transfer out in light of a coaching change?

When O was named interim he was a position coach
Point proven
Joe doubled down the idiocy with naming said position coach HC
LSU dodged a 30 round clip of bullets and got another NC out of the debacle, but could've been much worse.

Well were 5-5 last year and 4-4 this year so far, so maybe we need to have a complete start over.

The new coach (If it’s Mel Tucker) can rebuild the program via the portal very fast! Tucker built mich state in 1 year, they are undefeated and formidable!

This guy said yesterday the players know Jimbo is coming here and they are all really excited about it and then today says a bunch are going to transfer out.

You sir are a clown.

The NCAA has changed in recent years making this much easier to do so than it used to be. The transfer portal can only make it worse.

My Concern is guys like Smith and Roy not wanting to eat blocks in a 3-4 if we hire someone like Dave Aranda. We were exactly pumping out 1st rounders on the DL. Despite some talent.

Who is available at the moment that you think LSU should offer? That’s right, you got nothing. The next LSU is h is still coaching his team. He’s not going to come public with any announcement until his season is over. Some kids want to quit over it? Who cares?!? It is waaaay more important to get the coach hire right than to worry about players right now. Now get back in the kitchen and bake me a pie!!
