Wrong rockets. Amazon wants to stream CFB like they do Thursday Night Football with the NFL.

The user above hit the nail on the head. This is why they made such a big deal about it because they know LSU has the money now with billionaires backing them. It threatens the SEC's power because if LSU gets something lucrative and then you have other big universities like Texas following behind their power begins to erode so this was a desperation attempt to hold power. Same thing is happening to NCAA right now.
Typically money institutions will do anything to keep their position because you're obviously talking about millions. It explains why you had all the other schools pissed and they can see it by the fact LSU is outbidding them for every recruit they want.
Basically, Landry invited the billionaires to the table and they didn't invite the SEC so naturally it upset them.

Is this confirmed or just rumor? Not sure how LSU could even think about that unless they left the SEC entirely.

He didn’t say fax machine. He said faxes. Technically, many physicians offices still use traditional fax machines. But, a large portion of people who use fax, use sone type of electronic fax, which is still referred to as fax.

Should be available through public records requests

weren't they suppose to do a big announcement of it
Yes, some of it was to be explained last Friday, but they postponed because of all the court crap.

If the meeting at the governor's mansion is the cause of all this uproar then it makes the SEC look even worse. They've screwed over the whole 2022 class - people who should have been afforded a chance to come back to college, over something that had nothing to do with them. If the SEC is really using that excuse to cover their concerns over this meeting then they look even worse than I could have imagined. This whole conference is a joke and should be put down. I hope whatever this meeting was with the governor, it means LSU can get out of this clownshow of a conference.
