Haven't we done Shep to death? He will not make it in the NFL. With all of his speed and elusiveness, why didn't he return kicks of punts? Answer: he lacked physicality. As a receiver, he struggled getting off the line
Folks, this guy, bearhc, nailed it. If you don't agree with this you just don't know what you're talking about. But, bear, we're going to see threads on this until RS' two years on NFL practice squads are over. I suggest you program a macro to insert that quote above so you don't wear your fingers out typing it.

Even Peterson wasn't used in the return game until his last year. The reason is because of bad decision making.
What many don't seem to understand is that to give opportunities to one guy, you have to take them away from another. Peterson is a great return guy. I can't remember who was returning kicks for the Tigers when Peterson was a sophomore, but odds are it was a dynamo. Also, Peterson was fighting cramps. And so you think it was bad decision making to let someone else return kicks! You really thought that one through. Geez.

just like Lee, he got shat upon by the man and the university that they loved and respected.
Just cause he didn't play as much as you might have liked to see him play, it doesn't follow anyone gave him the "shat".
How many touches did you want to take away from Beckham, Landry, Boone, Wright, Hill, Hilliard, Ford, Ware, and Blue to give RS 10 a game?
Hope the guy, like all Tigers, get a chance to follow their dream.

if only he could make the big catch, he would have been the man at WR!!!

I love when people want to take plays out of stats to manipulate them. Let's take everyone's stats against Towson away, because it was just Towson after all.
Its called an outlier and its the correct thing to do when doing statistical analysis.

I don't think Miles needs any help to look bad. He does a good job all by himself!

Yeah, being the most successful coach in lsu history makes him look terrible.

Hopefully you aren't serious.

85-21...best in BCS football since 05.
49-19...best in SEC football since 05.
34-6...Top 5 in BCS football since 2010
21-5...#1 in SEC football since 2010.
A hold lot more good than "bad" in the above, but knock yourself out.

Hopefully he can be a deshaun jackson type player with more staying power. Come out of nowhere in the draft, tear it up on special teams and then be a deep threat WR. I'd love to see that.

Hopefully, he's a shite stirring troll who is bored with life rather than an LSU fan who's clueless bout BCS/SEC football.

Who are the losses to? I rest my case. 90% of wins against shitty teams doesn't = great coaching.

The positigers are hating this. They root against anything that makes Miles look bad. They want Shep and anybody who didn't produce for Miles to fail. They are really only positive for Miles and not really pro-LSU.

He was used the best way he could be used. Miles did the right thing for him by moving him to WR. If he makes it in the NFL it will be as a WR. STill has a ways to go to be a polished reciever but he made hugh strides while at LSU to get to where he is today. Hope he makes an NFL roster and best of luck to him. He was and is a great ambassador of LSU football.

Hes also done countless interviews where he says he loves LSU and wouldnt change anything. He dint come to lsu to play a certain position. He came to play football and to get a shot at the nfl. Hes leaving LSU with a degree and a platform to showcase his skills to NFL scouts.
LSU sells players on getting to the nfl. When we do that, people seem to bitch about and claim Les is a bad coach. It's bullshite.
