If this is accurate, then 0 is not only a jackass, but an incompetent one at that. He and Alleva and King and anyone else involved in this mess should be dismissed.

didn't think and still don't think it was the right hire for the program that I care deeply about. It isn't some personal vendetta. If that is "bashing", then I'm guilty as charged

You may or may not realize it but you’re pulling for him to fail so it aligns with your preconceived notions. It’s human nature

substance over form lester...No he isn't being outright fired, but he was told find another job and still getting at least a portion of his buyout.

No shite. I "hoped and prayed", Orgeron had learned from his past mistakes. But he hasn't he is still stubborn and suspicious to the point of being paranoid. Canada is smarter than him and outspoken and O is threatened by him. Aranda is not outspoken in that way so O is comfortable with him. Even though he knows he is a better coach. Fellows it's going to be a rough couple of seasons for LSU football.

I mean you really don't find it a tad troubling that his very first coordinator hire ended in such a huge disaster? I mean when hired I at least thought he could make it past a hire or two before his first misfire.....nope.

your offense is handicapped from the start if you can't run it with the QB of your choosing

A few of my sources told me that Canada wanted Brennan to play A LOT more than what he did. Coach O didn't want to take any chances. Canada has mentioned before he does not care if its a true freshman starting. Canada wanted more reps specifically to see how Brennan would do in an actual game

Was told the players love the offensive system. Its 'different' but not difficult to learn. It allows for everyone on offense to be a weapon.

I know a lot of players will be disheartened when Canada leaves

LImiting the pre snap stuff is not changing the offense. And probably saved us a loss or 2.

What are you talking about?

Canada's offense is built around moving different personnel around and constantly haven defenses on their toes.

Im sure O handcuffed Canada considerably. If Orgeron didn't meddle in Canada's offense then there would be no reason for Canada to hate Orgeron as he does. im sure O lied saying the offense was all Canadas.

I think Canada was running his offense as he wanted with the QB he didn't want.

I think the penalties pissed off O so they dumbed down the motions against Troy until that didn't work at all.

I think Alleva told O to back the frick off and let Canada run his offense.

I think Canada ran his offense after that but the damage was done.

Again, the fact that he’s not even after the full buyout says enough. frick man what are you even trying to argue?

If lsu was pushing him out he’d be having a sit-in in joe allevas office, taking every penny with him

This is what bothers me the most. Canada's offense was really starting to shine and O couldn't stand it. I'm telling you he feels threatened by Canada and so he started making plans to get rid of him. I tried to give O the benefit of the doubt but it's really getting hard. Look at that little prick Saban he couldn't stand Kiffin but he didn't let his emotions get in the way of business. O isn't going to bring LSU titles.

Except when it doesn’t fool anyone & costs us 10 penalties a game.

Try and @ me & tell me it was the wrong move. Go head.

Right....I think the people saying he sucked because he didn't completely fix our offensive woes after 1 season so we're better off without him are misguided. Young/injured OL, not a very talented group of WRs to put it nicely, and an extremely limited QB....all the while installing a completely new offense.

How do you label it a disaster when Canada did well with what he had, and not even knowing who the replacement OC?

Since when does parting ways with a coach signify disaster or failure?

...oh yea, it only does with Coach O because people hates him. Like I just told lsu2006. You’re looking for any little thing to justify your original thought on the hire. Even if it has no merit
