Rose Bowl chances

Even if Oregon drops another game they will get a spot in the Rose... well either them or Stanford BUT... the Big 10 champ will either be a Wisconsin team not even ranked in the BCS or Nebraska currently ranked at 14. Do you think the Rose would select a top 5 ranked LSU instead of them?

No. The grand Daddy of them all is about PAC vs Big 10.

Uh, guess not. No love for Lsu or SEC for that matter with Rose blossoms pickers.

I mean, do you even follow college football?

LSU's only chance is if the PAC 12 champ goes to the BCSCG.

They would rather have two crappy Pac-12 and Big 10 teams than teams from any other conference.

The rose bowl will not go outside of the 2 conferences. Even if it meant picking a 4 loss team, they will not do it. Boneheaded and elitist all at the same time.

you forgot contractually obligated. Since the BCS started in 98, the Big 10 and Pac 10/12 Champ play in the Rose Bowl, unless they are in the BCS CG.

We need ND to lose, Oregon to win out, Fla and Ga to lose, and the gumps to be #2 in the BCS

They HAVE to take the Pac 12 and Big 10 champ. Nebraska could be 7-6 and win the Big Ten and they'd still go to the Rose. No option. Basically your only chance at the Rose would be for UCLA to beat Stanford this weekend, USC to beat ND, and Oregon win the Pac 12 Championship but go to the NCG, which would allow the Rose Bowl the opportunity to select a replacement. And even then, the SEC Champ would be No. 1, meaning the Sugar would have the first selection to replace and would almost certainly take an SEC team, meaning no Rose.
