if the O-line plays like it did last week, it won't matter who is back there because they won't have success.
If I'm Saban, I go 1-on-1 outside with no safety help and dare our QB to make a play.
Hell, they could probably put all 11 in the box and we would be scared to throw it downfield.

To me this is a huge factor. Last year, the LSU offensive line did much better vs. Bama than previous years. Those battles in the trenches are important. There have been threads on TD in the past basically stating how Bama had been steadily winning those battles in the trenches.

The same Rohan who crowned Finley after one game and said he should be the starter no matter what Brennan’s status is?

Both QB's are studs. I hope that Myles makes a miracle appearance.

Max seems to make faster decisions and gets the ball out quicker than TJ plus he has enough legs to make a play after it breaks down. No question TJ has the better arm and is a big strong guy. I’d like to see Max get a chance to start a game like TJ has and see what happens. He really got dealt a bad hand last week getting put in when we were already getting killed on the line and also being thrown in at your own 1. If he isn’t moving the ball you can always put TJ in but I think he showed enough in that last drive for us to start things off with him this week. Give both kids the chance to start 0-0 and run the offense and the better player will emerge.

Exactly what you said. TJ doesnt look like he is even close to ready. You can see it in his eyes. Give Max the chance and see what he has. I do believe it will better this game with Max. I really do not want to see TJ just stand back there and almost die every play. He will probably get him more and harder than he has eve been before. And I am sorry his decision making speed it super slow and that wont work this game....
But no matter what neither will ever be the starter and the beginning of a year at LSU. One will transfer after the beginning of next year. Brennan will start next year and Nuss will be the starter after him

Both of these quarterback are young and talented. Finley has an NFL arm. Johnson has a good arm and is more mobile than Finley. I would base my decision on who is better at calling protections, recognizing coverages, and throwing to the proper receiver. This decision is actually simple to make, and the coaches should know the answer.

Start TJ and pull him if the offense stalls

I disagree with you and agree with Rohan. A guy who played in the pros would probably make a lot more qualified assessment and decision on that than fans like us.

Lol, you got downvoted for pointing out exactly the reasons a QB, especially right now with the young guys, who should be starting. Recognizing defensive alignments, making checks and being able to read pre and post snap are the most important parts of a play being successful or not. Have people forgotten, that’s what Joe was a master at and he totally destroyed defenses because of it.
