According to 1961 LSU-Ole Miss football program, his number was 72. He is listed as 6'1" 214 lbs. Hometown is Baton Rouge.

if this is the same person (Rodney Guillot) , which I'm 99% sure it is... he was my State Farm insurance agent when I lived in Metry

Monk Guillot's office is on Veteran's right by Tiffin Inn

If Rodney is your uncle, then Ginger is either your aunt or your mother.

Was thinking it was Exxon but Ethyl could be correct as well. Went to high school with his daughter at Redemptorist. She is now an attorney in BR. Mr Rodney was a super nice guy.

yeah always friendly. We were both at Ethyl in the 70's. Rodney and his family sat in the south endzone back then, and I remember once back then during an Ole Miss game at TS. a ice and bottle throwing contest broke out between Tiger fans in the upper deck and OM fans below us in the lower SEZ. Rodney's mother was hit in the forehead by a whiskey bottle thrown from the lower deck. At the time I didn't know who was hit, but I remember that the lady received medical aid. The following weekend my wife and I stopped to grab a bite to eat at some roadside cafe on our way to the Alabama game, and they walked in. It was then I realized it was she who was hit with the bottle as she wore a perfect circled bruise on her forehead from the imprint of the bottom of the bottle that hit her.

gotcha. I knew them really well years ago. Also knew your great grandmother Rita, and her husband Jerry
also. Does your last name begin with a "R"?

ok I said "R" because I thought your dad was Ginger's son, but obviously your mother is her daughter.

Rodney Guillot was part of the Chinese Bandits. Rodney went work for Exxon Chemical I think in the 90's. He retired a few years ago. I worked with him on several projects. He was an much liked and highly regarded Electrical Engineer. As far I know he is doing well and still following the Tigers, who are a near and dear to him.
