This is easy. Gun to your head, who wins if Bama plays OSU?

I thought so...

Honest question - if LSU goes to Stillwater this year, does Oklahoma State a) win, b) force OT, c) lose convincingly?

If you say anything but c, you're kidding yourself.

Alabama's best "win" is taking LSU to OT, nobody else has come within 13 points (and let's be honest both the Oregon and Miss State games couldve been worse).

No bug 12 title game. Just happens to be the final regular season game for the title.

Both Okie St. and Bama "get a bye." Not sure why one pisses people off more than the other.

I agree. Sure hope the voters saw that.

No pussy here...just not liking Bama getting a double shot at LSU for title. If roles were reversed, I would almost guarantee we would be on outside looking in.

If we have to play bama again.... Beating them in the dome will be even sweeter than the first game!!!!

if you pose this question to the voters regarding Bama vs. LSU, I'm sure many would say Bama...why isn't Bama receiving #1 votes

Oklahoma State will also have a double overtime loss to a 6-5 Iowa State team while Alabama will have an overtime loss to the #1 team in the country.

Which of those two events was the anomoly?

OSU got caught sleeping. Thy would win that game 19 out of 20 times. Clearly that is not the case for Bama who lost with the single biggest home field advantage ever.

Our resume is much much better than Bama's

Bama might be the better team, but the resumes aren't even close

Let's be honest. LSU has been treated very kindly by the BCS system in the past despite having blemishes on their record. What evidence is there to suggest we'd get screwed by the system?

Because Lsu already put the work in against Bama.

I missed the LSU-Ok State game this year, what was the score?

This isn't really about LSU though, the question is how should the Ok State - Okla matchup be compared to the LSU-Bama matchup as far as determining who deserves the #2 slot.

There isn't. People just gripe to gripe.

his point was more about not anointing Bama simply because you think they're better, compare the teams' accomplishments and decide who is more deserving. Ok State has a title game with Oklahoma, if they win that should merit comparison to Alabama's conference championship "play-in" game they lost to LSU.

OSU vs. Oklahoma is equal to LSU vs. Alabama not equal to LSU vs. UGA. OSU vs. Okla just happens to be for the Big 12 title but if Okla was 5-3 in conference and beat OSU they still wouldn't Big 12 champs.

As of right now, LSU is getting the biggest raw end of this deal out of anyone.

no way dude, LSU would be sitting right where Bama is. Especially after crushing Arkansas this weekend.

You might make the same statement if OSU were undefeated. In other words that argument is overly simplistic.

Don't forget OKie state win over Baylor

My only thing about Bama playing in NC is if they win.

Did they win division? No
Did they win Conference? No. Was not GOOD enough to play in game.
Already lost at home to LSU.
But somehow they are eligible to raise BCS trophy after a rematch with LSU?
I think not and hope Okie St beats down Oklahoma and gets in since they have a good resume which Rod Gilmore brought up during show.

honestly I don't like the fact that we should be considered automatic if we lose to GA...would be a downer in my opinion
