Rob Sanicola - the Joe Brady of basketball?

Wide open "spread" system. No positions, no plays. Small college in Maine has a killer offense unlike any I've seen. Maybe LSU could use an assistant like Sanicola?

Our offense is already pretty dang good

Except for no picks set, this is very similar to what we already run most of the time. Emmitt will be down low in the dunker spot and the other four will be out behind the three point line. But what this offense clearly calls for is making good decisions and passes which you can try to coach but is still up to the individual players.
For instance, Watford shooting a three when he is in the low 20% range is not a good decision or option. Likewise, if a drive is made to the basket, you have to make sure the lane is open and you don't get an offensive foul.
Another thing to consider is that the small school in Maine is not playing against very good competition and the defense is nowhere near an SEC school.

I like the player movement on this
We stand around with a pick and roll at the top of the key
Not sure I am for the no outlet pass after a rebound
since this is easily scoutable and would lock up transition
I like it though--new kind of motion offense-no a lot of picks

All the opposing team would have to do to stop that shite would be to play a Zone defense, especially if you have no shooters. I like the concept but I can tell you after watching that video all those plays the defense help side sucks people were playing with there backs to the ball and guarding players 15-20 feet from the rim when the ball is in the paint everyone should be attacking the ball

What does this have to do with lsu?

In the three years under Wade LSU has been in the top 10% (top 5% the last two years) of the nation in offensive efficiency. In short, scoring points and doing so efficiently hasn't been an issue, at all.
Now, if they could get someone who could come in a give some insight on the defensive side of the ball then maybe. However, I suspect it's not so much a matter of Wade and his staff not being able to "coach" defense as much as the need for a philosophy adjustment in their approach to defense.

And we are undersized. Add some bigs and I would not want to be the team that has to defend Wade's Tigers.

I’d love to see us bring this team into the PMAC to play against our boys in November as one of our non-conference home games.
If we can bring in Maryland, Baltimore County, we can bring in these guys to test their game against ours. Let’s let Will Wade experience this and get his take on it.

They'd probably throw up 80 on us but we'd throw up 120 on them

We have great athletes that slash to the basket And crash the boards.
We do not have any kind of offensive play selection or motion offense that gets players open for shots or to drive.
If we do we do not run it very much.

That’s just base layer of the read and react or basic motion. Pass and cut.
