I thought I read a couple of months back that there were other teams in the SEC who had signed players in situations identical to RJ Luis. Ole Miss was one of those schools. I’m assuming they didn’t roster those players in the end, but I didn’t think LSU was alone in recruiting players like RJ Luis to play this season. Am I remembering correctly? What schools and players?

Why not just answer his question instead of chiming in with a wisecrack that means nothing to anybody since it was a legit question?

eCred.

It's important to them to get in a jab when they can. They think it's meaningful and valuable.

To my knowledge, that was only Kentucky last season, and he ended up ineligible. Personally, Luis is not the hill I would die on if I'm LSU. He should not be eligible, IMO. Not that my opinion means anything

Ole Miss is trying to get Corey Stephenson who played in 4 summer league games for the Detroit pistons eligible.

RJ Luis who Wade has clearly stated would not be on the roster due to SEC rules and has not travelled with the team etc played in zero summer league games.

I believe that’s who I was thinking of. There is zero difference between Stephenson and Luis. Ole Miss has not played Stephenson just like LSU has not played Luis. For some reason LSU should be expelled for doing the exact same thing as Ole Miss.
