King is not a Tenn guy. He's more critical of UT than anyone else. Fans are always bitching about him being so critical of UT.
If you think King is a Tenn guy, you don't listen to the program very much. Just because he broadcasts from Tenn, does not mean he is a UT guy.

I was living in Nashville until April 2009 and Bill King had a afternoon show locally as well. He did one heck of a job and it was not all UT, but SEC.

UT fans bitch that he's critical of UT because he does criticize them, because they deserve it. He has admitted MANY times to growing up a UT fan, but he has alaos stated this is as bad at UT has been insce the 70's.
Every fan bitches at someone when they criticize their team, whether those criticisms are valid or not.
He also has admitted many times to loving watching WVU play with White and Slaton and now doesn't really root for anyone.
