There are plenty of sec refs with LSU ties. I know of one, but he is not allowed to referee LSU games.

Tom Ritter did not go to Alabama or any other SEC school. Good lord, do people on here do any research? He is just a shitty ref.

I know a guy who officiates in the SEC and apparently that is what most of the officials think about him as well. I also learned there is a lot of competition between the crews to work the big games.

Oh yea, most of the SEC refs don't care for him. I knew a guy out of Knoxville who calls in the SEC and he talked poorly of old bug eyes.
I would hope they are in competition to work the big games, that means they are going to try harder.
