I disagree. They have their share of weaknesses, but overall I think their defense is better than ours at this point. They've played 2 top 10 teams. We've played an average TCU team and a cupcake. Their pass defense looks suspect, particularly Langley at CB. USCe attacked him all afternoon and we should definitely do the same. Their run defense seems pretty stout, and I'm not convinced that we can stop Gurley. I give the edge to the Dawgs at home.

It will be an absolute shoot out.... we'll score at least 30. Can our " D " come around in time is the question. I think we'll eek out a thriller.

We'll know more after the AU game as those other tigers are coming to play. Auburn really hates LSU and is looking for revenge ...

Everone is poo-pooing LSU's run O. Yes Gurley is a manchild, but so will be LSU's run now we have Hill in place. I like LSU's chances figuring out how to contain Murray and keeping Gurley from running over 150 VERSUS them trying to stop Mett, Hill and cast.
Plus, don't ever underestimate the power of revenge. Mett's been dreaming of this game for years and has prepared all summer for this.

I feel great about it. We finally have the most polished offense we've had in 30 years and ranters are still finding things to whine about. Find some other things in life to give you cause for concern.

I agree w the game deciding on turnovers.
Our D has some kinks to work out and we still have more time to gell as a unit.
This will be a tough game if no one has injuries to key players before game time.
Remember that this is one of the two teams we can lose to and still get to Atlanta.

Do people really think Gurley is that great? He's good but Hill is a better back. He's just as powerful, more shifty, and faster than Gurley. And his name is Gurley for goodness sakes. Our run D does suck though. Anyone could run on us right now and it's not just welter making if a problem. Yes he's bad but no one else has stepped up to stop the run. Good thing is its week two
