It's amazing how well he is doing. I don't remember him being this great at LSU. Many previous tigers making me proud in the playoffs!

no, he was great his junior year. People just really under estimated how good he was. He almost always made the first guy miss and he was guaranteed to get the tough yards. Tiger fans wanted him benched for Ford & Murphy tho because he wasn't a home run hitter.

He was the 2010 LSU offense. Lee would make a few big plays in the passing game, but it was Ridley that carried us that entire season. Most underrated season of any Tiger in recent memory.

I loved his running style and the thing I loved most is that he always fell forward to get those extra 2-3 yards that are always crucial in SEC play.

Why is this always said about Ridley? The dude had 1200 yards rushing his last year. The most since Kevin Faulk. He was a stud.

There is no bigger fan of Ford than me - he is from my home town and I know him personally.

But I never thought he was better than Ridley. Ridley was da man.

Agreed. He had great vision and always hit the hole with authority - good burst and a quick first step. Since probably Faulk and Collins he was my favorite LSU back to watch. He was really just a fun back to watch in that he didn't do a lot of tiptoeing but didn't blindly run into the backs of his blockers either.

Ridley suffered what all LSU backs suffer. Gaining weight and becoming slower than what they were their freshman year. That and Les loves freshman tailbacks than upperclassman.... He has trimmed down again in the pros and has more burst and lateral quickness in the pros to hit the holes or cutback... Notice that all LSU backs do better or are better as a pro than their latter years at LSU. Moffet gets his backs heavy but they lose a lil mobility. Hopefully it won't happen to Hill next year and beyond.

What the hell are you talking about? His best year at LSU was his last. He was our best all-around back.

Absolutely! I have never seen another back at LSU that put so much effort into every play or get more yards after contact. He was also one of the quickest to hit the hole that I have ever seen. I have said for the last three years that he was still better than Ware and Ford and the guys that came after him.

I have always loved Ridley, I was pretty upset when he went pro!

Wish LSU could have had him another year!
