You think Collins is worse? If so, that is on the staff for not having anyone else. It is their job to fill the roster.

We have a backup in Swann
I’m not sold on Kelly as a whole but I would like to think they have the ability to evaluate who should be the second string qb

This is just how it is these days......good luck young man!

Good chance Nuss comes back. He wants a chance to start. If Nuss goes pro, he can still decide to stay.

He probably is. He probably has more upside but there's no reason for them to play the worse backup.

Good luck Collins. We’re rooting for you. Thanks for giving the hometown team a chance. Go do big things and represent Louisiana well.

The staff certainly did

You knew that would happen. This is the reason BK went to Swann, who's no good at all

Good for him. Wish he played here. A waste of great talent

Not a surprise. I believe this has been expected since the day he signed.

Was AJ Swann coming in to relieve Nuss last night the last nail in the coffin?
It’s more likely he informed the staff he would be transferring and was moved to 3rd string. Guys who are planning to transfer often don’t want to risk getting hurt before.

Should follow the McMillan route to tGreen Wave
People keep saying this. Mensah is a freshman and has been good. Collins isn’t just going to walk in the door there and take his job away. He needs to go somewhere that has an opening or battle for the job.

UK needs a QB, Vandy needs a QB... just to name a few
Memphis’ QB is leaving and there isn’t an obvious heir apparent there. That’s a high-level G5 program with some solid offensive talent. They also spend more than most G5 programs on NIL.

We flipped collins from Purdue. He was never that dude. Still hope he kills it somewhere.

I doubt that. The staff that recruited him is long gone and Purdue was a hot, steaming pile this year.
Maybe he reaches out to his old buddy Brohm at Loserville?

This is what happens when the #1 QB recruit is coming to take your spot in the order all year long. He’s been making plans for awhile now, and I’m sure chances are better he stays if Underwood flips earlier.
Exactly. LSU’s plans didn’t include him. It included Nuss coming back (hopefully) and then Underwood after that. He probably had his mind made up well before Underwood flipped to Michigan
