Do not see Les going to Michigan. If I recall, there is a substantially higher buyout on his part if he leaves LSU for Michigan. I really think his going to Michigan is a non-issue anyway.

I wish Les would go back to Michigan. The BIg Ten and the Ohio State and Michigan rivalry needs him.

If Rich Rod is fired after this season Les will be called on for the job but I believe that they would want to go in a different direction because they tried it once but they didn't put up the money and it will take alot of money to make it happen

RR will make one more attempt to bring his former DC from wvu jeff casteel to be on his staff. If WVU fires bill stewart then the chances of him getting casteel to UM are very good

We can--and should--do better than Muschamp

Maybe he will be a great head coach in the future. But right now, there's no reason for LSU to hire a coach who does not have major head coaching experience. LSU is one of the top 10 jobs in the country.

I completely agree. Will Muschamp may wind up being the greatest head coach in College Football history. But he also might be a colossal bust. We are in a position to not have to take such a gamble.

That part is true. If this happens, and I am saying it will not, then Les will make that rivalry relevant again. In my eyes, he is a better coach than Tressel and at some point would turn the rivalry in Meechigan's favor.

But to stress my point, Les Miles will be the coach at LSU in 2011.

When Les leaves LSU and goes to Michigan they'll be getting a hell of a football coach. Frustrating as shite sometimes.. but he would do fantastic in the Big10.

Could anything he said be as bad as how bad Michigan has sucked the last few years (relative to what they have been, historically)?

Been saying this for a while. I haven't had the most confidence in Miles but have never seen anyone who impressed me enough to think it would be fine to dump Miles. Muschamp included. He would be a risk.

why not go to a school where if you go 11-1 or 10-2 you won't be ridiculed all year?

Why?
That's like when the media was saying CFB needs Notre Lame.
Nobody watches CFB anymore since ND started sucking, LOL.
I think it's great to turn on the TV Sat afternoon and not see them after all the years that shite was crammed down our throats. Ditto for OSU-UM rivalry.
Wisconsin has taken UM's place admirably, imo.
