Just wanted your thoughts since you rewatched the game. On the scramble for the football on the backwards pass, do you think we recover it if the whistle had not blown? I think we had 4-5 white shirts right there when the whistle was blown. Not sure why the referee did not allow the play to play itself out. I’m not sure it has any effect on the beginning of the game if we recover and score.
Honestly I don’t think we do. Blue definitely had first shot at it but if he doesn’t field it yeah we had multiple white jerseys ready to pounce.
This came up in another thread and yeah I had a really bad feeling after that play that the refs were in on OM but honestly they called a pretty clean game outside of a few missed holding calls.
I was pleasantly surprised with the officiating, they let them play and didn’t take the game over.

Many times I watched the D line specifically Princewill expecting to see him abuse there RT only to see him not pressure, just stand there and watch to see if the play developed to his side.
Man, the TD before the half I swear all 11 just basically stood still where they lined up. We had a very weak three man rush where they were pretty much holding their spot to contain TC and the secondary did about the same in their zones.
Was a brutal call by Baker.
We were honestly pretty effective against TC but on 3rd downs he absolutely ripped us to shreds.
As said before that Mahomes shovel pass was a dagger at a key moment in the game.

Where is the offensive creativity we were expecting from Weiss and Lane?
3rd and goal to take the lead and we’re taking Leavitt off the field to bring in Clark and run a direct snap to Jones?
Yeah not a fan of that at all.
And multiple times OM hit open receivers on the move and I thought to myself that’s what I thought we were getting this hire, but those plays just didn’t show up much for us.
One of the few times we saw that type of mismatch created Green sliced them up until he got his knee busted 25 yards downfield
Need more of those creative designs.

I think the OM staff and players familiarity with Lane’s designs hasn’t been talked about enough.
Lane said as much in his presser on Monday. He gave an example that it was more of an advantage for him when he went against Saban the first time after leaving Bama. You know everything that Coach hates to scheme against

exactly right. He should be our backup RB or go play QB for Army....they never pass.

I can't believe how bad the first two offensive possessions were for LSU. Very disappointed.

Sam is a red-shirt junior.
Corrected. 1 at msu, 2 at asu. Thought he played at msu.
He wont be here next year at starter, imo

Why does Baker wait until 2nd half to make adjustments?

Jones is better than both of them. Neither of them have ever looked as good as Jones has
I dont care that Berry is a 5 star and has some moves, he doesn't have enough power to play in this offense.
