Who do y'all think will return kicks and punts? My guess
KO: guice
PR: chark
I know a lot of people think it's dumb to have such a valuable guy back there on KO but I think they still roll with guice

Lot of people want jackson on ko but he needs a little more physicality imo...maybe that has happened this Summer.

Derrick Dillon or Drake Davis

I'd like to see Derrick Dillon return punts but it will more than likely be Donte Jackson, which is fine with me.

I think jackson will return ko, not punts. Guice maybe punts, like faulk did. Jackson isn't physical enough for punts.

Yeah that Trindon Holiday was a real bruiser. I'll take the shifty guy with crazy straight line speed, thanks.

Please no. This is our last season with him, I don't want to see it cut short by some kamikaze special teamer looking to prove himself.

I'd like for Guice to return kicks, but I think Jackson will have both duties.
It's nice to have a CB returning punts.

I said he will likely do kickoffs not punts. Holiday may have been just a touch faster don't you think? I'm not sure anyone ever squared him up. I see you are being your regular self though, when this was strictly a football thread. Look, I soured on jackson against Florida when he got tossed aside like a rag doll on that long td, and then he fumbled a kickoff. He could have and probably did get stronger. That is just my opinion. Carry on though.

KO - Chark
Punt - Jackson
Punt - Jackson

Faulk did pretty well at it...just saying. I just don't think jackson is physical enough for punts...same reason holiday didn't.

Well of course. My point is that a kick returner more than anything needs elite straight line speed and secondarily a bit of wiggle. Jackson provides both.

What are you even talking about?

He had a bad day, no doubt. Not sure what his whiffing on that tackle has to do with anything though

Cool

I'm not saying Guice doesn't excel at it. Fournette was a beast in the return game but I always hated that as well. This is just me, but I feel there is always enough recruited talent on this roster to fill the return role with someone other than your all-world RB. Especially since the career span for RB's in the NFL isn't all that long. If you're getting the bulk of the carries for your team, stay out of the return game as well.

they cant put Guice on KO. not enough RB depth

Actually was more than a whiff, he got manhandled by the wr...thrown aside. My concerns lie with ball security, not ability.

This 100%. Save Guice for the backfield and if needed, throw him back there occasionally to throw off teams.
Let Derrick Dillon or Drake Davis have the chance as someone stated earlier. DJ will also be goo back there, but he needs to be fresh for D, so someone else needs to step up as well.

I don't disagree. I do think guice would be better than lf at it though.

I just think it never hurt faulk and he was great a pr
A downvote for saying faulk was a great pr.....lol. probably by someone who never saw faulk play at Lsu.

I don't remember fully, was Faulk the full time returner or was he sprinkled in there from time to time?
Also, Guice's style is way different than Faulk's and could lead to more wear and tear.
Without injury or wear concerns, I would love to have Guice back there, but we heed him to last as well as for others to step up.
