You're wasting your time trying to explain that on here.
The whole Music City bowl's a joke. They don't get that either...

I'd like to find out if he's reporting from the game. If so, would like to get a bunch of Rantards to heckle his arse.

Link?
LSU is the greatest program the world has ever known (until Les Miles destroyed it, that is). People that fail to realize this are stupid and can go DIAF.

The bottom line is that his comment was unprofessional. It didn't hurt my feelings but it was pretty stupid on his part.

Totally Agree.
Fans and Teams can talk SMACK,
Professionals should remain professional
...I would certainly not employ someone who brings that kind of attention to my city.

Why? It's just as close to Louisiana as Indiana, and Tennessee is tied with Utah with the low number of Catholics living there.
Louisiana is 25%+ Catholic and Catholic traditions are part of Louisiana's culture no matter if individuals are Catholic or not, like Mardi Gras, and Parishes?
Tennessee is 7-8% Catholic; wasn't long ago it was around 4-5% and traditions of Catholic Church are not a part of traditional culture there.
Yeah, I know you don't have to be Catholic to be a fan of N.D. or from Indiana (still surprises me the number of people who don't know where N.D. is located), and the "douche" could be trying to drum up local support or wanting to make sure they get N.D. money coming in.
Mind you I think this has more to do with wanting N.D. fan base money, but the 3rd world like images broadcast during and after Katrina worldwide hurt Louisiana's image, I can tell you firsthand talking to people nationally and internationally that Louisiana's image was one of people that didn't have the wherewithal to get themselves out of harm's way and exposed for public view corrupt and incompetent local governments, and the idea that Louisiana's people can't or wont take care of themselves but instead want someone else to do for them became a popular narrative.
The popularity of "Swamp People", and "Duck Dynasty" helps to change that narrative but in some places, actually a lot of places, those 3rd world like images still linger.
Like I said probably not the case with this guy though.
