Probably already posted but:

White has said that most of the initial statements investigators have taken were conflicting and seemed to contain a bias in favor of either the victims or the four named players. White has said he wants investigators to find more ''objective'' witnesses who do not have ties to either party in the altercation.

If the shoe doesn't fit, you must acquit

So, they are looking for a shoe print. Guy must have been stepped on. Weird kick, if it left a print.

This is ridiculous if they are. Stomping on someones face is not like stepping in the mud or dirt. A shoe is not going to leave a nice uniform contusion pattern.

The shoes in question were reported to be a size 12 Bruno Magli shoes.

Among items police searched for at QB Jordan Jefferson's apartment Wednesday night were bloody clothes, police spokesman Don Stone said. Several bags of items, which Stone didn't identify, were removed. "Investigators will sort through them and see if they are connected to these allegations," Stone said. "They could go to the crime lab."

The Marine involved in all of this is no angel. It will all come out soon.

This is all standard procedure, my wife got a parking ticket in downtown Shreveport. The came and took 15 bags of clothes and performed a cavity search.

Sgt. Stone just reported the discovery of a highly classified secret Wildcat Playbook in Jordan Jefferson's apartment. It is supposedly filled with pass plays for Russell Shepard.

44 brown paper bags... perhaps shoes
Damn! If JJ had 44 pairs of shoes, the NCAA is going to hear this and want to do an investigation of their own

All that means is that he was there and there are enough accusatory fingers pointed at him (even if they are incorrect).
You seem to have glossed over the part where the items they were searching for would either implicate or exonerate him.

Probably aren't trying to match prints, but check for evidence of Marine's DNA on the shoe.

Is Jefferson going to play the UO game barefooted?
