Per the Miami Herald's Barry Jackson, Miami has been approached to play either Alabama in 2017 or LSU in 2018. The game with the Crimson Tide would most likely be in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Classic, which the team is participating in this season against West Virginia. The latter matchup likely points to a high-profile edition of the Cowboys Classic at AT&T Stadium.

Would be a nice home and home. Too bad those no longer exist.

Yep. It certainly would be nice to see Miami come to Tiger Stadium again. Unfortunately for the season ticket holders we'll get the likes of ULM, Rice and W. Carolina at home AND the "opportunity" to shell out $125 a pop for shitty seats and a relatively expensive trip to Dallas for the one good OOC game of the year.

Legit.

Yet another opportunity for us to pump S.Florida talent out of that area.

You need to be in charge of scheduling. It can't possibly be that difficult can it?

I HATE neutral site games. As a season ticket holder, I'm sick of being given a crappy OOC home slate. As a taxpayer in Louisiana it infuriates me that our state university makes the conscious decision to give away potential tax revenue for our state and local economies. Sign a home and home with Miami or find someone of similar quality who will.

You sir, have hit the nail on the head !
Why the B.R. business community does not raise hell about all these "away" games, is beyond me...

No thanks. No home and home no care.

While I agree that a home and home series would be preferable, I don't really see what all the fuss is about. LSU is making a smart decision by beefing up their out of conference schedule with a brand name that we're all confident we can beat. Seems like this is a great strategy, especially with the new playoff format.

I am not a season ticket holder; have never been that fortunate. Or we've just lived too far out of state for it to be feasible. Still do. But that being said, if I could be a season ticket holder and was paying as much as they cost, and did my homework on the kinds of home games I was buying into, I'd really be unhappy with the OoC offerings, especially in the last few years.

I like to see reasonably good match-ups for my money - but maybe some people have so much time and money, they just don't care...
