Joe Burrow throwing the ball brought us a national championship. Joe Burrow could have made the towel boy look like an all SEC receiver.

Maybe. But I’m glad instead we gave him an elite outside WR to work with instead.

I’m not Chase’s daddy. I’m a fan of a football team chase no longer wants to play for. I can be selfish if I want to be selfish, just like Chase is being selfish to the fan base his team mates. He could have opted out after last season. Chase has shown since high school his word doesn’t mean a whole lot. That shows a lack of character.

Good luck Ja’Maar

I agree, poor timing. Love Ja'marr and what he brought to the team, so this hurts. Can't be mad at the guy though. Just hope this doesn't become the trend. Next man up!

Why not play another season and get a higher draft stock

We'll never know was he one of the greatest , maybe, or was Burrow that great of a quarterback.

It was exciting to watch him, he was sizzling a s a reciever.

Wish soccer players were as sexy as he was on the field.

There may be some who will say his greatness was largely because of Burrow. He is forgoing a chance to erase that perception.

He's also forgoing a chance that there's such a drop off at QB that he's not able to approach when he did last season.

There have been cases of guys that put too much into their own hype, come back and don't replicate what they did the year before, or they get injured. There is risk to him coming back just as there is risk for him leaving early.

He may get a pass due to the fact that players across the country are opting out.

I believe great wide receivers make a quarterback look greater than he is, like Landry and OBJ did Mettenberger. But also a Heisman QB can make wide receivers look greater than they are.

Is Chase the guy who’s dad was more than happy to tout why he’d never opt out like a month ago?

What the frick.

He paid his dues and I am happy for him. After all, that is why these athletes come to college---to be trained, and then get drafted. No doubt that Jamarr will be picked in the first round.

We are stacked at WR position. This is an opportunity for TMJr to show his talents and win the Biletnikoff next year. Those of you who are freaking --just chill the freak out. We have Arik and Trey in addition to Kayshon and Koy. Kayshon will be OBJ v2.0. Just watch!

I'm sure he thought that at the time or he wouldn't have said it. Things change.
