I don’t blame him one bit. Just look at all the Covid drama and the way that many around BR lambasted the players for standing up for what they believed. Also, O’s comments on Trump didn’t help things either.

I literally quoted him...

And then you twisted his words to say that he said Chase is running with thugs which he did not say. He said football is safer than running with thugs, which it is. Doesn't mean chase would run with thugs. You just want it to because you're a race baiting piece of dog shite.

Food for thought here. We have been practicing for a couple weeks now and just maybe he saw that his numbers were potentially gonna take a big drop and hurt his stock. So he opts out. RC told him that a while back, he should have did it then if RC had that much influence.

Ok so if he’s not implying that Chase is, then what is the point in bringing it up? It makes no sense

Times were way different you selfish fan
I’m not Chase’s daddy. I’m a fan of a football team chase no longer wants to play for. I can be selfish if I want to be selfish, just like Chase is being selfish to the fan base his team mates. He could have opted out after last season. Chase has shown since high school his word doesn’t mean a whole lot. That shows a lack of character.

I’d absolutely would. I’m not scared of Chase. Lol

At least we had him for the greatest season/team of all time which concluded with a National Championship victory. Hell yes it sucks that he won't be out there with us this year and that we've seen the last of him in an LSU uniform. However, this is a rare instance where you simply can't hate him for bailing on us. He did his thing and his stock could seemingly never be as high as it is now. In the same circumstances, I'm not sure I'd make a different decision. An injury or poor performance could cost him 10s of millions of dollars.

First, I love Jamar for what he’s done on the field. Heard nothing that would make me think he’s anything less than salt-of-the-earth dude. But, he’s taking a HUGE risk not playing when he can. Gonna suck for him if he drops like a rock in the draft bc he refused to continue to show his talents on the football field this year. Football is a competitive sport and it usually don’t fare well for people who refuse to compete, and instead rest on their laurels to take the next step. Kids below him on the totem pole are HUNGRY... he seems to think he has nothing left to prove... Kinda odd.

Oh really????? What would YOU DO????? IF you had half the talent of him. Again just another SELFISH LSU fan that doesn’t care about the player..... only what said player can bring to the WIN total.
No matter how emotional you get he still quit

I'm really excited to see some of the younger guys step up.
Yep! Who was Chase prior to last season.
I'd rather watch a freshman, who is just as talented, perform than a player playing for the next draft.
When Marshall was healthy, he was just as effective as Chase.
Receivers are the least of our problems.

Every player is playing and praying to get drafted

Was Sims running with a bunch of thugs? No!
Was Helaire running with a bunch of thugs? No!
No but they met a couple. There are thugs everywhere.
