Why would O even try to remotely smooth things out with RC instead of telling him to kick rocks

His stock can improve. He looked average to below in the CFP. There's definitely room for growth. He completed 48.6% of his passes against LSU and 54.5% against tOSU. Burrown completed 63%. He's got the arm, but he can certainly improve.

He is literally going to be the #1 pick in the draft.

And not only is he opting to play, but he's passionate about doing so.

There's a cultural problem at LSU, and it's likely being perpetrated by external sources (media, other programs).

Sources said Chase's decision is not specifically related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Rather, it is believed agents may have simply convinced Chase to leave before his third collegiate season.

Wow what a trash move. No respect for a decision to just quit on a his teammates because an agent begged him to.

Chase will drop in the draft standings but will be fine. Business decision pushed by those who make money off of him

Lol, no he won't. There are few players whose stock is set for top 10 and he is one of them. There isn't anyone close to him as a WR in this draft class. Waddle is probably the closest as future potential goes (think Tyreek Hill), but he's still a notch below, and is more potential than ready to go like Chase. There isn't a Jeudy or CeeDee Lamb level player behind them.

It's always funny to me to watch grown arse men get mad at a college kid for making a decision that's in the best interest of he and his family.

Chase going pro has nothing to do has nothing to do with me thinking about opting out.

do you hate when great players have to play multiple years? how did you feel when players had to stay 4 years?

Take a breathe man. You took that comment a little to literally. Of course I’d love to see Chase play for LSU this year. But he’s done everything there is to do. If he wants to go get paid and not take the risk of this season, more power to him.

Nothing has really changed with coronavirus in the last month. I have a hard time believing the sudden change of heart agent theory.

He really doesn’t have anything left to prove on the field. People are more pissed because he said he was coming back to play and then changed his mind. He’s a lock for the top 15, probably even a top 10 lock. That’s a lot of money to take a chance on with another season.

Those things aren’t mutually exclusive. You’re starting to make less and less sense

I tried to look at this from a rationale point of view, but I just can’t. If this sets a precedent for other top players it will hurt college football.

We have a TE Jesus to throw to now along with a ton of WR talent. We'll be fine..Good luck Ja'Marr.

Oh really????? What would YOU DO????? IF you had half the talent of him. Again just another SELFISH LSU fan that doesn’t care about the player..... only what said player can bring to the WIN total.

It's embarrassing to see a group of men who are likely around 50 years old and overweight trash a young man that is making a decision that effected his own life more than anyone else's

It’s a 100 man roster and LSU is deep at WR, so next man up. The only thing I don’t like was the timing, it would have been better for the team had he done this several weeks ago.
