Don’t know why we even have the intimidator, 5 of those titles shouldn’t even count because college baseball was so easy when we won them. The only real title was Mainieri’s according to the baseball experts on the Rant.

I’m not with you....but we aren’t far from seeing the validity.

All but one were done before the upcoming class was born.

Yeah let’s destroy our history. Go tear down a Confederate statue or something.

5 of the 6 were won when current players weren't born yet. That's not intimidating.

Most of the years on the Intimidator are before the current players’ birthdates.

It’s about as relevant to them as we think of the Yankee teams with Babe Ruth.

It wasn’t intimidating this past weekend.

Yep, the window for bragging is over. Great memories, but no one else cares about ancient titles.

Current Baseball SuperFans will tell you the real mark of success in this age of collegiate baseball is to get a Top 8 National Seed. Hunt Palmer will let you know everything else beyond that is soooo dependent upon luck.

Dude and others like him didn’t grow up on a peogram that set a standard for itself of national championships. So when we stopped, that was their normal. Which they began to defend.

Sad.

Growing up in the old box during that era 2 things have changed.
1. Everybody has big ballparks now. It’s not new especially in the SEC to walk into a place that big.
2. The crowd at the box was different. There was something in the air. I sat down the 3rd base line and would stand up in left field. That place would brutalize opposing players. Not so much now.
Celebrate the past but don’t expect teams to roll over because of it.

First and foremost totally agree with your statements on the old box. BUT this one is what happens when you have a decade of a below average (with LSU'S old standards) results. All the idiots that say "oh it's changed", or "that's baseball", or "everyone has good stadiums" or "it's a different time".........go tell Bama football that.

Pawl came in with his sweet voice won a quick National title with help and everyone just lusted for him. A decade later and to admit the truth that he is done with and totally underachieved in his time here. Its admitting LSU baseball isn't King anymore. So people for the love of LSU, to a fault, defend Pawl to the end with stupid arse reasoning.
