No one nationally really cares about college baseball.
LSU Basketball made $1.036 million in FY '24; baseball lost $1.969 million. Women's basketball lost $8.572 million. Imagine what the basketball team could bring in if they were a perennial Elite Eight/Sweet 16 team.

The titles LSU is winning are in sports that don’t pay bills.
Men’s basketball is practically always second in revenue generated even for football schools like Alabama and Michigan. In LSU’s case, they completely tanked #2 for the current product of #1.
