Remember when we had to beat a top ranked 58-5 A&M team 2x in 1989 to advance to the CWS?

I remember: 13-5 and 5-4 in Aggieland.
Lost to South Alabama on Day 2, and had to fight through the losers bracket to get to the final day vs A&M.
Pound the Beavers!

I know we got blown out last night, but that game is over. It is a new day. Tomorrow will be different, and LSU will be ready to play against Florida State, and I think we beat them pretty easily. Then we get another chance against Oregon State, which is all we need.

Difference is we had a 3rd baseman from Holy Cross step up and hit the double to put us up vs Aggie.
This year we have a Catlick High 3rd baseman.
NOLA HS Baseball > BR HS Baseball
HC > CHS
Therefore, Doubtful that we pull this off.
