I remember Dan Orlovsky creaming his britches over TJ during the SC game saying we should bench Brennan now because TJ was clearly the future and best to take our lumps now. Odd he didn’t have that same opinion against TAMU.
I hope TJ ends up great but choosing him over a (healthy) Brennan right now is just idiotic.

Brennan should be the starter for as long as he wants to stay here.
I’m sure the conversation will get brought up against next year saying that the younger guys have just as much actual in game experience, they’ve had time to grow, more upside, etc..... that’s all bs Brennan is the guy until he leaves.
I think the direction of the qb room is promising. Got some good recruits coming and some good competition to make everyone better.

I think Brennan had 11 TD's and like 1200 yards in 4 games

All of our QBs have shown positive things...but all are still unproven. Two of the 3 teams Brennan started against are sitting at the bottom of the SEC with a combined record of 1-13 if you take away the head to head match-up.

For QB continuity and development, LSU needs a healthy Brennan for AT LEAST next year, and hopefully for two more years.
The current freshmen can still redshirt next season if needed and this year doesn't count.
They could both technically still be freshmen in 2022.

I dont care who the QB is, if we can't block or stop anyone it doesnt matter. I dont get why you guys dont want an LSU player to be successful and are all acting like Brennan is Burrow.
We havent seen enough yet for Brennen to be our savior, he hadn't even started against a top 5 team as Finely did this past week.
Not saying Brennan would be the same as a true freshmen but we haven't seen enough from him either to know hes the answer to our problems

If I'm Brennan I take my college degree and haul arse out of Baton Rouge and don't stop until I get to Athens Ga and beg Kirby Smart to give him a legitimate shot at the QB postion. He could help GA win 2 National Championships . Why stick around in this cluster flock this is now LSU football!
