I'm glad I didn't post here during the game. I was melting for sure.

I like to think my melt and change of pants is what started the turn around.

I was mad at days for not shooting well again. I didn’t post about him, but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t melting a little.

This team will wear teams down with their depth and defense. LSU is not a good 3-point shooting team and just needs to focus on transition scoring and working it inside to overwhelm teams. Sometimes they need to dig out of holes due to poor shot selection with all the outside shots. But they have the elite D to do just that.

Days has been way off from outside for about 6 games after an extremely hot first 3 games of the year. Yet, LSU is still winning. Great sign. If he can just shoot about 36% from 3, LSU will overwhelm a lot of teams with some 3s here and there to go with all the inside scoring.

For those that followed Wade before LSU, this is a team very similar to the ones he had at VCU. Just absolutely break you down defensively and rack up points on the fast break and offensive glass.

It’s frustrating to watch on the offensive side sometimes but you’re never out of a game when you get stops like this team does.

Boot tf up!

Even if you are a good shooting team, there will be times when it fails you. Good defense and rebounding are the result of discipline and hustle and will win games when shooting is off.

It was obvious that the rims that LSU shot to in the first half would be the same that GT would have to shoot at in the 2nd half. Those rims had a lid on them, so nobody could make anything. LSU scored 30 somehow in the first half and GT scored 19, so a total of 49 points were scored on that basket. Must have been bent or something.
