Wrong that’s if they win the conference tournament. They have aq by their name. If they don’t win the conference, they aren’t getting in. Strength of schedule is toooooooo weak

My how our goals have changed. Once it was, We should at least make the tournament.
Then, WW can't coach offense. WW can't coach defense.
Now we win two games and all is well.
You must have been disappointed when JJ was fired.
If we beat Auburn, or keep it close, then its time to load the Mac Bus.

You’re a special kind of stupid. The term aq is the for projected conference tournament winners for all conferences (including ACC and SEC teams). That does not mean those would not also be in as an at-large they don’t win their respective conference bid. The 11 and 12 seed line is always the divide between at-large teams and small one-bid league aq’s. The fact that McNeese is on the 12-line means they are close to the at-large cut line.

Of course their SOS is going to get hit from here on out, they are in a low major conference. If they win out, 12 is likely the ceiling for McNeese, and likely lower.

Name another Southland team that has made it to the 12-line.

What I’m saying is mcneese will only get in as aq. Which means they won the conference tournament. Any human with a brain knows mcneese will not get an at large big with such a weak schedule. Ken Pom has mcneese # 89

how can people live in this constant state of negativity? especially if you call yourself a "fan" of something...

yeah, auburn is a good team and chances are we won't win just looking at it on paper. But why as fans can't we be excited for winning two games, 2 more than many of the negatigers said we'd win all conference slate.

this team has some pep, seems to be playing well and coming together. why not get behind them in stead of boudaeing because you think we might suck in the future or because "your coach" was fired...

latest projected brackets have them as a 12 seed. That’s on the line of being an at-large team.

Lol at the delusion of the southland being a 2 bid league

You’d rather talk this dumb shite vs be a little happy for lsu playing well

Reading comprehension matters. I never said McNeese would get an at-large. What I said was based on current projections - McNeese is in the range of at-large bid teams. At the very least, McNeese is at the top of the list of one-bid leagues.

I can only think of 2 Southland teams that got to that level. I think 2 of Brad Underwood's teams got to the 12 line. Then he jumped to OSU and Illinois.

We all want McMahon to work out here because we all love LSU.

I would say the vast majority of us want Mcmahon to work out.

But all? I think there is an element to discussion boards like this where being right on opinions and proving others wrong becomes more important than the team you love doing well. It's real, hell I would have to say I've even been there a time or two.

But I though CMM was a good hire and was in favor. Last year however was bad and it was bad beyond any of the rationalizations I saw for it...just my humble opinion.

Finally seeing a couple of signs...aside from Cook that may be giving me hope. And hope is a good thing.

SFA was a 12 seed a decade ago and won their first round game.
