Probably not. But consider this.
By the time the season ends, McNeese will have 4 wins vs 2023 NCAA Tournament teams. 2 wins vs NIT team one of which lost in the NIt finals. And that team, UAB lost in its tournament final to FAU, who was a final 4 team. Yes the SLC is weak. McNeese is showing that by a 40 and 30 point margin in their last two games. But no 30 win team has never not been at at large.

If you do the math, it says 9 seed. But no way they giving an SLC team a 9. Look for a 10 or 11..

Wade returns court side Wednesday Dec. 13th at McNeese’s Legacy Center vs Southern Miss, and the again at home vs Lafayette City U on Sunday Dec. 17th at 3:pm before heading to Michigan.

Rumors are Rumors, but there is one other factor very few are aware of.
The McNeese AD and Wade go way back. As are the current McNeese HC and Wade.
Rumor has it, Wade would keep current HC on staff.
If any of this is true, the only reason would be to help out some old friends, while he positions his self for another P5.

I’m betting ESPN giving Sunbelt and the home team more TV money then the 10,000 in lost ticket sales would have netted anyway so it makes more financial $ince to play some games on Tuesday and Thursday nights then on Saturday.
