Miles did a lot for LSU. look around, programs like us do not exist, we've been a major, contending power for basically 20 consecutive years now. No one does that, we are literally the only one, and thats because this shite is really hard, its basically impossible.
How many "geniuses" have come and gone just in the past 5 years? Hows Harbough doin? Wheres the Swag Copter? Art Briles still a safe choice? Go find our coaching boards begging not just for Fisher or Herman, but Bobby Petrino or Chip Kelly or Butch Davis or Justin Fuente, find all the people convinced Dana Holgerson or Larry Fedora or Todd Monken or Gary Patterson would roll here because LSU recruits itself. Look what Skip Holtz is doing at USF you guys. Mike Riley is winning at Oregon State. That Butch Davis at Cincinnati looks like a winner. Dooley played us close with 2 stars. June Jones turned SMU and Hawaii around, imagine that offense with LSU athletes.
We all know Miles was far from perfect, but we are where we are today because of him. Christ how do you think O even got here.

For real, it’d be like we had 2 first round talents at corner on the field at the same time. Oh wait...

So?
Spears was a tight end, Josh Reed was an RB as was Devery. Players get moved around all the time and Chase would probably be a great db w his size.

Unless Emery, Davis-Price, and Curry flop next year, all of the Etienne hand-wringing was for naught. We ridin' with Clyde.

How about how he handled Russell Shepard. That guy was a beast in high school, and has done pretty well in sticking around the NFL.
He just seemed like a fish out of water with us and that shouldn’t have happened.
Russell never really embraced the WR role until his final year, and he had to develop a lot. Our offense didn't fully take advantage of the WR's we had, but they were all well-coached.

What’s with you miserable sons of bitches who, at a time like this, want to go slander a man who loved LSU?
I bet Mike Archer and Curley loved LSU too. Love for the university is irrelevant.
And have you forgotten that LSU paid Les tens of millions over his time here? Sorry, but Les’ failures on offense are fair game for critique.

How many players did he put in NFL at LSU?
Skins on the wall dude. All that matters.

Saying I didn't think he would get us here is bashing now. Got it.
well at the very least it reeks of insecurity.

Yea, Miles was a bum that definitely never got elite talent here.

Les is still one of the best coaches in program history no matter how much you cry about it.

yeah, but just imagine stingly at 1 corner & chase playing the other corner
YES!! I know you're being facetious. Thinking about it, though, as it would be a realistic possibility in the Les Miles system, we'd be playing in the Independence Bowl year after year as the Iowa of the SEC perennially finishing 2nd, 3rd, or 4th in the SEC West, and not having beaten Bama for another 10 years. He had a comfortable winning percentage, and LSU would go to a bowl game every year, but that was a big come down from the program that Saban built.
As much as I like Les Miles, he wasted so many opportunities for very talented teams to compete for national championships after 2011.
