Big difference is Clyde had a CCW

Clyde was in his care and did not need a CCW for that. Malik did something against the law. I don't have an issue with what he did. I am always carrying in NOLA, but I can legally do it.

He will pay his fine and do some probation that only makes NOLA a little bit of money. No big deal.

It’s sad you have to get guvment permission to exercise your constitutional rights.

Open carry is legal. I do it all the time. My constitutional right.

It’s also not very smart. When shite goes down the first good guy getting shot is the one who the bad guy knows has a gun. If you conceal it you give yourself a much better chance to defend yourself and others.

it was in Scotlandville where he was likely selling the Playstation that he was given by the Playstation Fiesta Bowl

Ah… the good ole days when players had to sell their bowl tickets, gifts, rings, etc to get some cash. Them boys was hungry.

Here is the problem. Any law restricting the right of self preservation is in itself in a violation of the Constitution and thus should be unlawful but they get away with it anyways

Or just don’t infringe on constitutional rights or have a liberal governor who doesn’t sign it into law

No one is “blindly defending” him that I’ve seen. We simply don’t know the details of what happened. If anything you are blindly convicting him.

The right to bear arms is enshrined in the US constitution, therefore you don’t need the government’s permission. Concealed carry permit requirements are a governmental overreach and thus unconstitutional.

If he was down there partying and drinking while carrying then that’s something I would take issue with, but as of right now we don’t know that. Either way let’s not condemn the kid like he’s done something irredeemable for simply carrying a firearm on his person.

I get what you are saying about not judging without the facts, but I hope you realize that he likely was. Either way this will probably get swept under the rug and we’ll never even know those details.

Gotta stay strapped or get clapped. Especially in NOLA. Good on ya, Malik.

Well, it would be better if he had the permit, but perhaps Clyde didn’t have a permit either.

In any event, it is a trivial offense.

Yep. It’s unconstitutional for me to not be allowed to have a nuclear bomb too. The constitution says the “right to bear arms”, it does not specify any type of arms. A nuclear bomb is an armament just as any gun is.

Really need more details on what led to the arrest. Was he just randomly searched and they found a gun? Or was he acting stupid?

Yep.

There's a different version of that story where CEH gets murdered because he doesn't own a gun.

And the shitbird that did it would probably be out of jail by now.

As a Christian you absolutely should agree that he deserved it. It was what gif commanded. It was the sole reason he was (if you believe the myth) put on earth. To believe he didn’t deserve it would be to go against god.

Do you really think that when crazy frickers start shooting at others... they take the time to assess who's carry a firearm or not??
